Desired Candidate Profile
Position Summary:The Scrum Master will be responsible for managing the Scrum process for the project. The Scrum Master will be responsible to understand the Scrum process used at customer site and ensure that the team follows the scrum process and pursues continuous innovation in their practices. Roles and Responsibilities:Manage team's scope, schedule, sprint planning, risks and change
Collaborate & empower collective ownership in team
Remove barriers and impediments that are preventing the team from
completing work
Ensure that the team follows the scrum process and pursues
continuous innovation in their practices
Owner of capturing agile project metrics and reporting
Will work with multiple scrum teams (local or distributed).
Will facilitate daily scrums, sprint planning (story pointing, daily
deliverables etc.), sprint retrospectives and sprint reviews.
Excellent soft skills like communication, planning, decision making, people
skills etc. Essential Requirements: Proficient in Scrum terminologies and their applications.
Have at least 2 years of working experience in scrum-oriented projects.
Have at least 3 years of hands-on technical experience (preferably Java
technologies).
Proficiency in using at least one scrum tool like JIRA, Visual Studio ALM
etc.
Should have sound understanding of different roles in a scrum team.
Good understanding of iterative software development process and
awareness of agile XP concepts like TDD, BDD etc.
Good understanding of development terminologies like automated builds,
automated deployments etc.
Awareness of project management tools MS Project etc.
Awareness of continuous integration tools like CuriseControl, TeamCity etc.
Awareness of version control systems like Mercurial, Git, SVN, TFS etc.
Awareness of QA processes like acceptance criteria, test planning, test
case creation, test case execution, automation testing etc.
Awareness of bug tracking tool like QTest, Bugzilla etc. Nice to have Requirements:
Prior experience in US client handling will be an added advantage
Experience in projects having Java technologies
Good to have certification like CSM (Certified Scrum Master). Essential Qualifications: B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA ( full time regular ) from a recognized University
