Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Java/Scala Developer to join our team and contribute to projects involving large-scale data processing and modern application development. You will be involved in building and maintaining robust applications, particularly within the healthcare and financial services domains. This role requires a strong foundation in both Java and Scala, with experience in big data technologies and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities:

*Design, develop, and unit test high-quality Java and Scala code. *Develop and maintain applications utilizing Java, Scala, and related frameworks. *Work with big data technologies like Spark and Kafka. *Implement data processing pipelines using technologies like SSIS and Snowflake. *Utilize Splunk Logs for logging and monitoring. *Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure. *Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. *Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development processes. *Contribute to the development of shared services within a microservices architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.

- Prior experience in developing and maintaining scalable backend solutions.

- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills
