Job SummarySynechron is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Database (DB) Developer with expertise in Sybase to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in managing, optimizing, and enhancing database systems to support business objectives. The Sr. Associate DB will contribute significantly to Synechrons strategic goals through effective database management and by leveraging additional skills in Oracle and Java for comprehensive solutions.Software Requirements

Required:

Extensive knowledge and experience with Sybase databases.

Preferred:

Additional knowledge of Oracle databases.

Familiarity with Java programming as an added advantage.

Overall Responsibilities

Manage and optimize Sybase database systems to ensure high availability and performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database solutions that meet business requirements.

Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly to maintain system integrity.

Assist in the integration of Oracle and Java technologies where applicable to enhance database functionality.

Participate in the development of database strategies and plans that align with organizational objectives.

4+ years of experience working with Sybase databases.
