Sr. Automation QA - OPD - SS @ Pratiti Technologies

Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with 6-9 years of QA experience, 3+ years in Selenium and Cucumber to join our QA team
• The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality deliverables in an agile development environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and API testing using Selenium and Cucumber
• Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure quality and functionality
• Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with project goals
• Perform detailed analysis of test results, report issues, and work closely with the development team to resolve them
• Enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks for improved efficiency and reliability
• Stay updated on the latest automation tools and technologies to ensure continuous improvement in QA processes

Required Skills and Experience:

• 6-9 years of hands-on experience in QA, 3+ years Automation experience with strong expertise in Selenium and Cucumber
• Proven ability to design and implement automation frameworks from scratch
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or equivalent
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies, Agile processes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with tools like Git for version control and Jenkins or similar for CI/CD integration
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in BDD (Behavior Driven Development) and writing Gherkin scripts
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments and cross-browser testing tools
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
