Job Description

Urgent hiring for Java Developer- Kolkata

Mandatory skills- Java 8, Spring boot, Kafka, Spark

Location- Kolkata

Mode- Hybrid/ Remote

Must-Have Skills:
Strong programming experience in Java 8 or above.

Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA.

Experience with Apache Kafka (producer/consumer setup, streaming, topic design).

Experience working with Apache Spark (batch or streaming mode).

Proficiency in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

Knowledge of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.

Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based backend applications using Spring Boot.

Build and optimize real-time data processing pipelines using Apache Spark.

Integrate systems using Apache Kafka for high-throughput messaging and event streaming.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.

Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and agile development ceremonies.

Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve application performance and reliability.
