Job Description
- End-to-End Testing: Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test scenarios covering all aspects of the application, ensuring complete test coverage from requirements to post-release.
- Test Management: Utilize JIRA/Azure for managing test cases, tracking defects, and maintaining traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects. Experience with JIRA plugins like Xray or Zephyr is a plus.
- Test Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Document defects with clear reproduction steps and expected vs. actual results.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Regression and Sanity Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not adversely affect existing functionality. Conduct sanity testing to verify that specific functionalities work as expected.
- Exploratory Testing: Engage in exploratory testing to identify potential issues that may not be covered by predefined test cases.
- Basic Automation and AI Knowledge: Assist in the development and execution of automated test scripts. Explore and apply basic AI concepts to enhance testing processes.
- Manual Testing Expertise: Proven experience in manual testing, including functional, regression, sanity, smoke, black-box, and white-box testing.
- Tracking Proficiency: Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA for test management, defect tracking, and reporting. Familiarity with JIRA plugins like Xray or Zephyr is advantageous.
- Test Documentation: Strong ability to create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
- Basic Automation Skills: Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium or JUnit. Basic scripting knowledge in languages like Java or Python is a plus.
- AI Fundamentals: Basic Understanding of basic AI concepts and their application in software testing.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Advanced Automation Skills: Experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Performance Testing: Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter.
- Continuous Integration: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
- AI-Powered Testing Tools: Exposure to AI-driven testing tools and methodologies.
- Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications: ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent certification is a plus.
