Job Role:- Asst. Manager PackagingJob responsibilities:-
-Packaging development Asst Manager/ Deputy Manager prepares strategies for short term & long term development needs in consideration, along with co-ordination with marketing, formula development lab, procurement, supply chain from the beginning of brief generation to on time product delivery.
-Support development of products which meet the requirements of both our company and the market through developing packaging design, packaging dimensions and optimizing packaging material.
-Aim at meeting the requirements of consumers, and continue to improving and innovating, then, increase the competition of our products within India.
-Evaluate and develop new packaging and improve existing products.
o Develop goals & objectives which supports the business and technical strategies.
o Lead cost savings and trouble shooting in packaging.
o Provide input and guidance on technical feasibilities and process efficiencies.
-To coordinate, plan and assist online trials for new packaging development and for all packaging related improvement projects
-Facilitation for Packaging development of existing as well as new products.
-Responsible for data compilation & various reports preparation related to new product development
-Coordinate with:-
o All concerned for Packaging related Improvements including Packaging material improvement projects.
o R&D (Packaging Lab) for packaging specifications, testings.
o Legal for compliance requirements.
o Procurement for various packaging samples.
o Sales & Marketing for market surveys, feedbacks, acceptability & display ability.
o Production for production feasibility.
o SCM for logistic feasibility.
-Ensure timely packaging analysis of all primary packaging materials
-Intimate new testing method for pack characterizations for all formulations
-Ensure system compliance, SOPs to streamline packing development and testing activities
-Identify the advancements and keep abreast with the new technologies in the field of packaging material development
-Educational Qualifications:-
Packaging Engineering background with MBA preferred
-Experience Required
Proven working experience in Packaging with 7-8 years of experience in FMCG
Education:
UG: Any Graduate - Any Specialization
PG: Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization, MBA/PGDM - Any Specialization
Doctorate: Doctorate Not Required
