Job Description

At RevX, we deal with 3 Million+ QPS and petabytes of data. As a part of the RevX team, the candidate will be responsible for leading the software testing. That includes mentoring test team members, test-planning, test execution, defect-tracking, test automation, scripting providing support during deployment.

The individual will work closely with the engineering managers, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC.

The individual will design an automation framework using TestNG, Selenium Webdriver, and other great technologies.

Major Responsibilities:

Ideally, were looking for someone with very good hands-on with coding. Mentor and guide the software test engineers.

Collaborating with the internal team to identify and prioritize the areas of the application that require automation testing.

Build an automation suite from scratch as per requirements.

Design, create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases against our software platforms and applications in the cloud.

Automate the new feature/product test cases to the automation tool. Perform vulnerability assessment to identify any security defects.

Contribute to the regression test automation framework update the regression suite as functionality changes or bugs are identified.

Contribute to performance and scalability testing efforts.

Interact with product management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives.

Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive toward root cause identification and resolution.

Document, track, and escalate issues as appropriate, using JIRA or similar tools/means

Technical ownership of software testing infrastructure and improving product quality

Take responsibility for monitoring product development and usage at all levels with an eye toward improving product quality

Required Experience/Skills:

Relevant work experience of 5-7 years in a software test role.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Excellent working experience with OOPS and design patterns.

Strong experience in Backend Testing .

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Test-Automation in Java/TestNG .
