Job Description

Role : Linux System Administrator

Location: Greater Noida

Job Description :

Linux System Administration:

Install, upgrade, configure, administration and maintain Linux systems (e.g., Red Hat, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu).
Monitor system performance, performance tuning, troubleshoot issues, and implement security best practices.
Perform system upgrades, patches, vulnerability mitigation, and updates.
Should have knowledge of setting up and manage local repository of Linux repositories.

Physical Server Management:

Manage physical servers using tools like Integrated Lights-Out (iLO).
Perform hardware diagnostics, replacements, and maintenance.
Ensure physical server infrastructure is optimized for performance and reliability.
Scripting and Automation:
Write efficient and maintainable scripts using Shell, Python, and PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks and improve system efficiency.
Use APIs to pull the required information and integrate with other systems.

Virtualization:

Manage and optimize VMware virtual environments systems (e.g., VMware and Oracle Linux virtualization).
Create, configure, and maintain virtual machines.
Hands on experience the Upgrade of OLVM Engine , KVM Hosts , Migration of OLVM VMs P2V or P2P.
Implement virtualization best practices for performance and scalability.
