Job Description

• Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning, sterilization, and decontamination of surgical instruments and medical equipment.
  • Inspect, assemble, and package reusable medical instruments following established guidelines and protocols.
  • Monitor and operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
  • Maintain inventory records of sterilized items and ensure timely restocking.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Conduct routine checks and record-keeping of sterilization processes and equipment.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure availability and proper functioning of sterilized instruments.
