Job Description

Skills Required

1.Candidates with minimum 3 years of experience in mortgage underwriting/ Pre Purchase Review

2. Should be well versed with Conventional / FHA/ VA loan underwriting

3.Able to calculate all income types (e.g. wage earner, retirement, self-employed)

4 Strong attention to detail.

5.Extensive narratives for underwriting decisions made to be shared downstream.

6.Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet daily goals.

7.Need MS Excel and ability to analyze numbers

8. Willingness to learn / Trainable / Problem solver

9. Attention to detail - Has to be accurate on numbers and deliver in timely manner

10.Good understanding of TRID requirements

11. Good written and verbal communication skills

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Ability to manually underwrite complex transactions to ensure the loan meets established guidelines.

2. Compute income and debt ratio calculations following program guidelines and ability to repay requirements.
3. Perform mortgage credit analysis without the assistance of AUS.
4. Maintain production goals & standards in accordance with

established SLA's and metrics.
5. The candidate may be required to perform other job-related tasks
6. Perform evaluations on appraisal products
7. Good understanding of title
