L2 engineer:-

Hands-on experience on switching, routing and firewall .

Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., multicast, BGP, OSPF).

CCNA certification and CCNP Course/ certification

Experience:- 3 to 6 years

L1 engineer:-

Hands-on experience on switching, routing.

Understanding of networking protocols (e.g. multicast, BGP, OSPF).

CCNA course/certification.

Experience:-1 to 3 years
