Job Description
Key Result Areas:
- Architect modern DA solutions using best of breed cloud services specifically from GCP aligned to client needs and drive implementation for successful delivery
- Demonstrate expertise for client success through delivery support and thought leadership cloud data architecture with focus on GCP data analytics services.
- Contribute to business growth through presales support for GCP based solutions
- Research experiment to address unmet needs through innovation
- Build reuse knowledge, expertise foundational components for cloud data architecture, data engineering specifically on GCP
- Grow nurture technical talent within the Infocepts GCP community of practice
Must-Have Skills
- Deep hands-on experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Composer.
- Proven ability to design enterprise-grade data lakes, warehouses, and real-time data systems.
- Strong command of Python and SQL for data engineering and automation tasks.
- Expertise in building and managing complex ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Apache Beam or Airflow.
- Experience in leading teams, conducting code reviews, and engaging with senior stakeholders.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with Terraform or Deployment Manager for GCP resource provisioning.
- Experience with Kafka, Apache Beam, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of data lineage, cataloging, encryption, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Exposure to integrating data pipelines with ML models and Vertex AI.
- Understanding of Looker, Tableau, or Power BI for data consumption.
Qualifications:
- Overall work experience of 12+ years with minimum of 3 to 6 years experience GCP related projects
- BS Degree in IT, MIS or business-related functional discipline
- Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies
