Role Summary
It is a challenging role requiring over 15 years experience in IT with 5+ years in AWS, focusing on cloud migration strategies, roadmaps, and compliance with best practices. Candidate will be responsible for designing scalable cloud solutions, managing RFPs and presales, handling stakeholder requirements, and leveraging AWS expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- 15+ years of overall IT experience and 5+ years of experience in AWS.
- Proven experience in developing cloud migration strategies, defining migration roadmaps, and providing accurate estimates.
- Experience in working on RFP/Presales activities, Cloud COE, estimations and cloud migration strategies for applications.
- Hands-on experience in developing and deploying Cloud Native Applications utilizing AWS PaaS Capabilities such as AWS Lambda, Secrete Manager, RDS, Aurora, Containers, EKS (AWS Kubernetes Service), Step Functions, Event Bridge and API Management.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Integration Technologies such as SQS, SNS, AWS API Gateway, Event Bridge.
- Proficiency with AWS VPC, Security Groups, IAM, S3, Cloud Front, KMS etc.
- Responsible for designing scalable, cost-effective, and efficient solutions while taking care of compliance and best practices.
- Working closely with stakeholders and product teams to gather technical and non-technical requirements and translate them into well-architected solutions.
- Configure and deploy solutions using automated solutions such as AWS Cloud Formation and Terraform.
- Experience in application architecture and Full stack programming using JEE/Microsoft, Spring boot/.NET core, Python, Node, React, Angular Etc.
- Experience in database technologies SQL, PS/SQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL.
- Ensure that the architecture and solutions are compliant with AWS best practices and mitigate any security vulnerabilities that might occur.
- Focus on optimizing performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of cloud applications.
- Provide technical support on AWS-related issues, monitor solutions, and implement appropriate strategies to eliminate performance bottlenecks.
- Utilize tools such as IAM, resource tagging, cost management, etc. to enforce AWS governance policies and implement monitoring and alerting solutions to address issues proactively.
Qualifications
- Any Graduate / Post Graduate
- 15+ years in IT and 5+ years with AWS.
- AWS Solutions Architect, Associate or Professional, is good to have.
- Strong knowledge of cloud concepts, architecture patterns, and best practices.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS solutions.
- Hands-on experience with any cloud, preferably AWS, is preferred.
