Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Handle complex consulting projects within Financial Service domain across Banking, payments and Insurance industries.
- Client engagement and smooth delivery of projects, starting from planning to final delivery.
- Team building and training juniors to accomplish tasks expected from the client and ensure timely delivery.
- Provide high quality industry reports and database leveraging inputs from primary and secondary research.
- Source financial and operational metrics for selected banks, payment and insurance companies.
- Conduct secondary research to collect/update data from central bank, association, company annual/financial reports and analyze them.
- Carry out primary research to fill any data gaps.
- Develop an understanding of various concepts within the FS industry.
- Review data for accuracy and relevance
- Review the report deliverables.
- Able to manage projects independently.
- Train juniors
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience in report writing and database production, and experience in financial services industry is desirable
- Knowledge of financial services industry such as banking, payments, and insurance will be a value add.
- Any experience on working on consulting projects will be a value addition.
- MBA with specialization in finance is desirable
- Ability to source data and information through secondary and primary research and analyse it
- Understanding of data reporting and report writing
- Working knowledge of MS-office and proficiency in Excel
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good writing skills
- Team management
