Job Description

Perform eye exams and vision tests to evaluate patients' vision.

Diagnose and identify eye diseases and conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma.

Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications as needed.

Provide pre and post-operative care to patients undergoing eye surgery.

Educate patients about eye care, including proper contact lens care and safety precautions.

Maintain detailed patient records and charts for accurate documentation.

Stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry and eye care treatments.

Bachelor's degree in Optometry or related field required.

Licensed to practice optometry in West Bengal.

Proven experience working as an Optometrist, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
