Job Description

Role & responsibilities


  • Facilitate ensuring end-to-end clinical and service excellence by the HCL Healthcare doctors and allied clinical staff, with primarily focusing on the clinical quality of the LOB-1 doctors but also covering nurses, dieticians and other paramedic/allied providers.
  • Support the initial evaluation of prospective candidates, including participation in the clinical (technical) round of the recruitment process for hiring LOB-1 doctors.
  • Facilitate the induction of the new-joinee team members, focusing on clinical & service excellence.
  • Plan and conduct post-induction training and other capacity enhancement activities for clinical capacity enhancement and service excellence, based on periodic training need assessments and post-training evaluations. Maintaining good rapport and warm connect with doctors & other team members is crucial, especially during the initial 90 days of their onboarding.
  • Carry out concurrent and onsite monitoring and evaluation; provide supportive supervision; and offer technical insights and support for process improvement. Approximately 25% of the time in this role will be spent traveling to the onsite clinics at various LOB-1 locations.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including those at the Corporate Office and the on-ground clinic teams at various onsite clinics (LOB-1 locations).

  • Liaise with Clients to provide periodic updates, technical support, and other inputs related to clinical and service excellence for the LOB-1 Business of HCL Healthcare.

Analyse relevant data; provide technical support and inputs for preparing reports, dashboards & publications; and make periodic presentations to key stakeholders on observations, actions, and further planning and insights

Preferred candidate profile:


  • Essential: Recognized MBBS degree, or equivalent.
  • Desirable: A recognized advanced degree such as MBA or post-graduate (PG) qualification in medical / allied discipline (such as health administration, management, training, public health, or research), or equivalent.
