Senior UI Developer (Individual Contributor) @ Conduent

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UI Developer with solid experience in building modern web applications using React.js with Redux. The ideal candidate will have strong command over front-end technologies, the ability to build scalable, responsive UI components, and experience mentoring junior developers. Youll be a key player in creating exceptional user experiences across our digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead UI development and contribute to front-end architecture for web applications.
  
• Mentor junior developers and promote UI best practices.
  
• Collaborate with back-end teams to ensure seamless integration.
  
• Build reusable and scalable components using React.js and TypeScript.
  
• Optimize UI performance and cross-browser compatibility.
  
• Work closely with UX/UI teams to implement accessible, user-friendly designs.
  
• Maintain and enhance existing JavaScript/TypeScript codebases.
  
• Implement web services integrations using REST and SOAP (JSON/XML).
  
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning.
  

Must-Have Skills:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in web application development.
  
• Strong proficiency in React.js with Redux.
  
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, XML, JSON, SASS.
  
• Proven experience in developing responsive, cross-browser compatible UIs.
  
• Familiarity with debugging tools (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, IE).
  
• Strong grasp of RESTful/SOAP APIs and web standards.
  
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with other frameworks (e.g., Angular, Vue.js).
  
• Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Grunt.
  
• Exposure to SCSS/SASS and CSS architecture.
  
• Understanding of ARIA/Accessibility standards (ADA).
  
• Knowledge of JSP/XHTML.
  
• Awareness of security best practices (e.g., OWASP).
