Job Description
Ability to understand fluid dynamics for steam flow, understanding bearing assembly requirements and gas cooler calculations for hydrogen cooled generators, understanding generator characteristic curves, understanding all auxiliary systems required for hydrogen and water cooled generators, commisioning and testing requirements and criteria of acceptance for large turbo generators.
3D modeling of generator stator coils and rotor coils, blower blades, bearings.
2D drawings study for stator core, stator winding and rotor winding.
Understanding the basis of ventilation and heat transfer calculations for generators and blower design for multi stage compressor.
Study of ventilation circuit for rotor windings of different types of generators.
Understanding of selections of type of coolant for different ratings of generators
