Job Description

The primary profile of the person is to work in Ludhiana office of the company and facilitate sourcing of light engineering products from China/other countries for exports to our clients customers globally.
Product to be sourced is Bicycle/Auto/Machinery/Glass Fittings/Stainless Steel Railings/construction items etc
Detailed Profile
1. To work with existing Chinese vendors for follow-up and new order placement.
2. To find new vendors in China/Taiwan by regular visits.
3. To do factory inspections of material under production.
4. To facilitate export process including material receipt, quality control, documentation, repacking and container stuffing.
5. To help reduce the cost of purchase by negotiating prices and suggesting changes in the design.
This profile is an excellent position for any person who wishes to gain experience and exposure to global sourcing practices and exposure to Chinese manufacturing.
Person will be reporting to GM/Director Sourcing& Purchase located at Ludhiana.
