Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Team Lead to manage mission-critical cloud infrastructure for its customers globally. This role entails providing 24x7 managed supports for these cloud environments, overseeing a team and ensuring the customer SLA exceeds the benchmark. You would be required to work closely with the DevOps and engineering teams by providing your inputs and suggestions.
Job Responsibilities:
Build relationships, enable and work with our partners to find and realize opportunities. Ensuring the customer SLA is met always. Ensure issues are resolved holistically by keeping focus on the complete problem.
Review tickets and escalate to management whenever required.
Oversee a team of Cloud Engineers, provide technical expertise and guidance to the team where required.
Act as the L3 in case of escalations and resolve the issues with a hands-on approach
Interacting with the customer via tickets, calls, emails and periodic sync up calls.
Evaluate the performance of team members on a periodic basis and provide feedback to the team and HR.
Must Have Skill:
10+ years of experience and a proven track record of providing L3 technical support with a cloud first data center or a cloud support services organization.
In-depth knowledge of cloud, containers, virtualisation and its supporting technology and concepts.
Hands-on knowledge of Linux, MySQL, Vmware/KVM and any on-prem cloud technology.
In-Depth experience on any monitoring system (Prometheus / Nagios / Zabbix / SolarWinds / ManageEngine etc.)
Good working knowledge of Storage, Networking, Backup, Bash.
Excellent communication skills with clear verbal and written articulation.
Experience in handling a team of minimum 4 people in the above role.
Qualification and Experience:
Relevant bachelors degree.
