Assistant Team Lead - SEO (AUS Shift)

We are looking for a skilled SEO professional with 5 to 10 years of experience to lead our search engine optimization efforts and drive organic growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEO, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage a team of SEO specialists.

• Spearhead our search engine optimization initiatives to enhance online visibility.
• Conduct research and analyses using tools like Google Analytics, Moz, Adwords, Keyword search, etc., to draw insights and develop new strategies for improving rankings and conversions.
• Stay current with SEO trends and emerging technologies to ensure successful ranking and traffic objectives.
• Manage multiple projects across different time zones and languages.
• Lead and mentor a team of SEO specialists, providing guidance, setting goals, and monitoring performance.
• Develop and implement content strategies to optimize for SEO purposes.
• Monitor and analyze website traffic and SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics and SEO software.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates on SEO performance and discuss strategy adjustments.
• Utilize AI tools for SEO and link building, guiding the team to improve and deliver more links, offering ideas and daily communication to assist in keyword selection for prospecting.
• Create, implement, and own the company's link-building strategy, suggesting new ideas for link-building strategies while ensuring quality backlinks and maintaining healthy backlink profiles for each client.
• Engage in link-building, prospecting, and campaign scheduling when needed, set an example for the team as a team leader, report monthly work and progress to the team (your manager), share knowledge to improve processes and quality of work, build strong relationships with partners and linking agencies, and craft personalized outreach templates or write documentation to be used by your team members.
• Be a creative thinker ready to find non-traditional ways of generating links, with very good knowledge or understanding of Ahrefs, SEMRush, GSC, Screaming Frog, and possess a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in SEO with a track record of improving search rankings.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Certifications (Optional but beneficial): Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ).
• Experience working remotely and self-motivation.
• Strong fundamentals in On Page and Off Page Optimization techniques, including dynamic site optimization.
• Expertise in conducting research and analyses using various tools to draw insights and develop new strategies for improving rankings and conversions.
• Ability to stay current with SEO trends and emerging technologies.
• Capable of managing multiple projects across different time zones and languages.
• Must be able to leverage AI tools for SEO and link building.
• Should be able to onboard and train new team members to become good link-builders, guiding them to improve and deliver more links, offering ideas and daily communication to assist in keyword selection for prospecting.
• Must be a fast learner with the ability to adopt new tools and technologies quickly.
