We are looking Data Enginerr.
The Data Engineer will be responsible for the hands-on development and implementation of robust and efficient data pipelines for modern data platform. This role involves building new ingestion processes, optimizing existing ETL, and ensuring seamless data flow between various internal and external systems. The Data Engineer will work closely with the Data Architect to translate design specifications into working solutions and contribute to the overall data strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement new ingestion process designs for critical data sources, including core project data sources and other key business systems.
- Develop and build interface views to support business reporting and analytical needs.
- Replace existing, inefficient data transformation processes, focusing on efficiency and minimizing impact on other systems.
- Decouple specific workflow engines and implement export mechanisms to the Datalake.
- Decouple and integrate external data sources like exchange rates providers to provide a single, consistent source of truth across systems, integrating with enterprise integration platforms.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience in developing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Proficiency in data warehousing concepts and practices.
- Experience with data integration from diverse source systems, including databases, APIs, and flat files.
- Demonstrated experience with tools and technologies for data ingestion and transformation (e.g., cloud-based data factory services, data virtualization technologies).
- Knowledge of and practical experience with data integration specifically related to Master Data Management (Grplatforms like Ataccama MDM.
- Familiarity with financial data and reporting requirements, with an understanding of how data from financial systems would be processed.
- Experience with API integrations, particularly for consuming data from external sources such as XE.com.
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on data quality and consistency.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
