Job Description
10 years of hands on experience in performance testing, analysing application performance and performance engineering space Hands on experience on HP Loadrunner (preferred) , JMeter Experience handling large testing teams in both Shared Service model as well as in Productised teams Proven record of achievements in testing teams Knowledge of monitoring, profiling and tuning tools e.g. CA Wily, HP Diagnostics, New Relic, I3, HP Openview, J- probe, Optimize- IT, SQL Power Tools, TOAD Able to accurately analyse performance test results and present results and analysis in both technical and business language Good knowledge of Websphere and its performance counters Good Knowledge in J2EE technology Good knowledge around thread dump analysis, heap dump analysis and AWR reports Strong knowledge and working experience of Capital Markets and Fund management. Knowledge of Agile software development life- cycle methodologies Exposure to testing tools such as, ALM, Quality Center, Selenium, QTP, Jira etc. Is adept at doing POCs and building/ ideation of custom utilities Experience of working with multi- cultural and geographically disparate teams HP LoadRunner, ISEB/ ISTQB certification or equivalent Exposure to testing mobile applications / apps Experience in Performance tuning will be desirable Exposure to a varied environments and products like: J2EE technologies and the WebSphere family of products C / .NET and the Microsoft environment Web Services, SOAP, XML messaging etc. Key Responsibilities Responsible for understanding the delivery approach, and strategic initiatives, in order to define appropriate test strategies and approaches. Define and implement performance vision for the testing function Deliver projects in the performance testing space and ensure delivery efficiency Define testing methodologies & implement tooling best practices for continuous improvement and efficiency. Understand business scenarios in depth to define workload modelling for different scenarios Compliment architecture community by providing inputs & pursue implementation suggested for optimization Define methodologies to strive towards decoupling test cases with humongous data preparation activities. Competency to manage testing for highly integrated system with multiple dependencies and moving parts. Define metrics, practices, processes, reports and tools to ensure delivery is managed Competency management for testing practice Knowledge and stakeholder management Implement steps to improve test levels Ensure testing standards, process, procedure and methodology are adhered to. Maintain a detail functional understanding of the key business systems and future developments.Job Classification
