Experience:
- Graduate or postgraduate in Computer Science or related Engineering Specialization.
- Relevant hands-on experience in software development with focus on high-performance systems
Skills & Competencies:
Job Description:
- Gain in-depth understanding of various software testing methodologies, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Gather and analyse requirements from stakeholders and end-users to design automation frameworks that align with development objectives.
- Design and implement effective test automation solutions using cutting-edge tools, tailored for Bootloader and drive functionalities.
- Develop and execute QA tests using scripts that automate periodic testing, ensuring product reliability without manual intervention.
- Conduct stringent reviews focusing on reusability, modularization, and code quality.
- Perform rigorous testing on the Bootloader product infrastructure, including firmware, hardware, networks, and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders and non-technical members, to identify automation improvements and align solutions with project goals.
- Enhance the reliability and stability of the Bootloader automation framework and associated test suites.
- Plan hardware and infrastructure requirements for the project or automation ecosystem.
- Evaluate and integrate tools and technologies that enhance automation capabilities
- Establish best practices for automation, ensuring compliance with industry standards
Qualifications/Requirements
Technical Skill sets:
Must have:
- Working experience in any automation project (Preferably above 7+ Years) as an automation developer
- Working experience in STBOTTBroadcast domain
- Operating System : Windows ,Linux.
- Scripting Languages: Python, Selenium
- Version control: GIT, Gerrit
- Automation framework : Robot Framework (or any)
- Network Technologies: Ethernet, Wi-Fi, HTTP, TCP/IP, IPv6, DHCPv4, DHCPv6, ICMP, Telnet, SSH, DNS, FTP
Good to have:
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Exposure to implementing CICD pipelines
- Exposure to Automatics
- Knowledge of hardware interfaces and debugging tools for embedded systems
- Familiarity with RDK concepts
- Exposure to Jenkins Web services: SOAP, REST
