C++ Developer - Exchange Connectivity / E-Trading @ Synechron

Job Description

Seeking a strong C++ developer to join our RBCs front office trading technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in low-latency systems, exchange connectivity, and electronic trading platforms.

Key Requirements:

• 4+ years of hands-on C++ development experience
• Solid understanding of low-latency, high-throughput systems
• Prior experience with exchange protocols (e.g., FIX, OUCH, ITCH) and market data feeds
• Background in building or supporting electronic trading systems (equities or derivatives)
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
• Familiarity with multithreading and real-time messaging

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to order routing, market making, or algo trading systems
• Experience working directly with traders or quant teams
