The Technical Excellence Partner (TEP) Network Security ( Fortinet ) job role has been designed for large and complex deal as MSI to cope with the underlying technical and organizational complexities and to remove roadblocks in the customer technical journey
As a master of techniques to collaborate in designing technical security solution on complex, non-standard customer business requirements in the pre-sales and/or post-sales phase,
As a master of craft with proven hands-on capabilities to validate the design by implementing first few sites in the Fortinet SD-WAN network, deliver tested configuration templates & configuration guidelines, to deliver requirements in term of tools to ensure and secure the right technical dataflow for operating properly
As master in collaboration to interact with technical stakeholders (design team, engineering, GPS expert), project manager and with customer experts to define the most appropriate way to deliver the solution
As highest technical operational/build authority during build/run phase as well during the customer life cycle for driving critical matters amongst heterogeneous entities for the customer The Technical Excellence Partner plays clearly an important role in front of the customer to ensure a seamless transition and transformation of the solution into a state of the art standards in term of implementation securing the customer business
Overview:
The security network engineer will be responsible for the delivery, implementation & documentation of new customer orders across IP WAN & MPLS networks for fixed line WAN & SD-WAN telecommunications services You will take ownership of a wide range of network security, Firewall, cyber security and IPS requests and projects
You will work in the Network Implementation/Deployment , which is accountable for the remote configuration of Enterprise Network Security solutions over the network infrastructure including the ATM, Ethernet, IP-VPN & MPLS Wide Area Network & SDWAN infrastructure
You can expect to be involved with:
Enablement & activations of security products within the Global Provide delivery chain
Plan technical deployments with project teams to design & implement network security services
Configure & implement new Fortinet Firewall products into live network environment
Liaise with external suppliers to coordinate service delivery & order management activity
Candidate Profile:
Ideally, you will have some previous network security engineering experience gained within a Mobile, RAN, TX, Telecom, SDWAN, Carrier, Network Integrator or similar technology-supported services provider
Your professional or academic experience is likely to include some of the following:
Experience with any of the following IP vendors: Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel, Nokia, Fortinet, Fortigate, Palo Alto Networks, Check Point
Experience with; IP Networking, Fortinet Fortigate Firewalls, Enterprise Network Security, Cyber Security or IPS systems
Familiarity with WAN, MPLS, IPVPN & SDWAN networks
Experience with Routing Protocols (BGP, RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, ISIS)
Experience in testing L2/L3 devices (PE Routers), CPEs
Deep Understanding of TCP/IP, OSI Layer Protocol suites
Good understating on WAN protocols and troubleshooting
Degree / Diploma Holders with good Telecom / Data / IP Network knowledge
Advanced verbal & written communication skills in English language
Fortinet Certifications FCP/FCSS, FCX preferred
Cisco Certifications CCNA, CCNP, SD-WAN will be preferred
