Job Summary:
The IT Purchase Executive is responsible for procurement and vendor management of IT-related products and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Excel, and effective communication to coordinate with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Vendor Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with IT vendors and suppliers.
- Process purchase orders and track deliveries.
- Maintain vendor relationships and resolve procurement issues.
Inventory & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, purchases, and contracts.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.
- Generate reports using MS Excel for tracking expenses and inventory.
Stakeholder Coordination:
- Collaborate with IT teams to understand hardware/software requirements.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments.
- Address procurement-related queries and concerns.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Any Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, IT, or related field.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Data Analysis).
- Knowledge of IT hardware, software, and procurement processes.
Soft Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage procurement timelines.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
