Job Description
Job DescriptionRELEVANT EXPERIENCE 5 years in Retail operations and LOss
This position comes under the Asset Protection Function and Position Reports to Market Manager Asset Protection directly.
Formulates & documents Asset protection policies & processes in alignment with store team. Refines the AP processes to control shrink in Best Practice.
Training Participate in imparting AP training at store management level
Maintain the confidentiality of the data.
Work cross functionally in store with a range of teams to capture feedback and leverage this insight to drive continuous improvement of current AP content.
Participate in process improvement projects, monitor them and run pilot testing at Store level with the AP team.
Monitor and manage completion of required periodic audits and/ or surveys (e . g. Shrink Safety and Compliance Review, Operational Audits etc) .
Develop and maintain rapport with all levels of management in the Company. Communicate internally and externally using different methods (e. g. , one- on- one, e- mail, meetings, phone calls, written documentation) to promote and maintain open communication.
Enforce asset protection procedures, Risk Control requirements, and all applicable Company guidelines.
Ensure the Company policies and procedures related to the detection, apprehension, and processing of shoplifters are followed.
Manage processes to ensure goals are met in the areas of safety, Security, Investigation loss, shrinkage, expenses, quality, productivity, and people measurements.
Monitor and manage completion of required periodic audits and/ or surveys (e . g. Shrink , Safety and Compliance Review, Operational Audits etc) .
Monitor and manage all aspects of the Audit Team to meet minimum cycle count efficiency/ dollar difference expectations.
Review and analyze records, reports and documents to ensure compliance with Company operational expectations.
Enforce individual Company policies and programs (e. g. , Open Door, grass roots, coaching, Associate accountability, training etc) .
Manage and direct department/ division initiatives and functions according to Company policies and procedures (e. g. , Security, Risk Control, Asset Protection, and Compliance) .
Interface with internal and/ or external groups (loss prevention, Facility management, law enforcement, regulatory agencies) to ensure the most efficient and professional customer service.
Monitor steel for proper steel and safety standards (e. g. , shrink wrap standards, organization, false bottom pallets, partial pallets, dented uprights, safety clips) .
Develop and implement department policies and procedures, which include policies, procedures and objectives, and interdepartmental functions.
Monitor and manage travel and operating expenses of self and direct reports.
