Role & responsibilities

• Architecture & Systems Design:
• Microservices-based architecture at scale.
• High availability, scalability, and reliability strategies.
• Release management and CI/CD pipeline best practices.

• Cloud & DevOps:
• Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Proficient in configuration management tools like Chef (preferred), Puppet, Ansible.
• Knowledge of infrastructure and platform security.
  
• Scripting & Automation:
• Hands-on scripting in Ruby, Bash, Perl, Python, or similar.
• Automation of routine tasks and incident prevention.
  
• Databases & Storage:
• Strong SQL & MySQL skills.
• Exposure to NoSQL systems like Redis and MongoDB.
  
• Monitoring & Operations:
• Experience in 24x7 enterprise environments.
• Tools and platforms for monitoring, logging, metrics, and visualization.
• Troubleshooting web/app servers such as Tomcat and Apache HTTPD.

• Drive architecture, deployment, and maintenance of technology infrastructure.
• Automate processes to reduce outages and downtimes.
• Lead DevOps and site reliability initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product and infrastructure alignment.
• Mentor and guide junior tech talent.
