Job Description
Primary skills: Exp on Scala , other data engineering skills like SQL
Good knowledge on pyspark execution and optimization.
Good to have: Airflow and iomete.
- Build and maintain distributed, scalable, and reliable data pipelines that ingest and process data at scale and in real time.
- Create metrics and implement business logic using Spark and Scala to deliver meaningful insights from large datasets.
- Model, design, develop, code, test, debug, document, and deploy applications into production, following established software development processes.
- Harmonize, transform, and move data from raw formats into consumable, curated views that support business analytics and reporting needs.
- Analyze requirements, design technical solutions, develop applications, and conduct thorough testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and maturation of data engineering practices, including sharing best practices, providing training, and mentoring other team members.
- Troubleshoot complex application issues by writing code, compiling, debugging, and performing in-depth analysis and code reviews to resolve problems efficiently.
