Job Description
Job Summary:
The Command Centre Operator is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to real-time events and alerts across systems and operations. This role ensures the smooth functioning of critical services by providing 24/7 support, incident management, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor systems, applications, and infrastructure using centralized tools and dashboards.
- Detect, log, and escalate incidents or anomalies in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
- Maintain accurate records of events, incidents, and actions taken in incident management systems.
- Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity drills.
- Provide real-time updates and communication during major incidents or outages.
- Continuously improve monitoring processes and suggest automation opportunities.
- 4-5 years of experience in a command centre, NOC, or similar operational environment.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Splunk, Nagios, ServiceNow).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a 24/7 shift environment, including weekends and holidays
