Power Bi Developer @ Softtek

Job Description

• Power BI Desktop and Service (Power BI Pro, Premium)
• SSRS (2012+)
• T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning
• DAX and Power Query (M)
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL concepts, and report lifecycle management.
• Experience working with SQL Server, SSAS (Tabular/Multidimensional) is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps, source control tools (e.g., Git), and report deployment pipelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Build paginated and operational reports using SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
• Create complex DAX calculations, data transformations using Power Query (M), and custom visuals as needed.
• Design and optimize data models (Star/Snowflake schemas) using Power BI datasets or SSAS.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting and visualization requirements.

Support:

• Provide Level 2/3 support for Power BI and SSRS reports, including bug fixes, performance tuning, and data accuracy validation.
• Troubleshoot issues related to data refresh, gateways, report rendering, and data discrepancies.
• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve failures in scheduled report execution.
• Maintain documentation for support procedures and troubleshooting steps.
