Android Developer @ Datamatics

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

Design and build applications for the Android platform using PHP and Kotlin.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Required Skills

Core Android Development (3+ years of experience)

Proficiency in Kotlin

Working knowledge of PHP (for backend integration and APIs)

Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles

Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

Familiarity with Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
