Mechanical Design Engineer Civil & Layout @ Chola MS

Job Description

Develop plant layouts, equipment GA drawings, and civil interface drawings

• Prepare equipment layout for STP/ETP/RO/UF/DM plants
  
• Ensure smooth integration between mechanical and civil layouts
  
• Work on 2D/3D modeling tools AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, etc.
  
• Review vendor GA drawings and ensure compliance with site layout
  

• AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks (or similar CAD tools)
  
• Knowledge of civil structures, foundations & layout planning
  
• Equipment placement strategy based on O&M accessibility
  
• Coordination with civil, process, and piping teams
  
• Familiarity with water treatment plant (STP/ETP/RO) layouts
  
• Understanding of structural loads, baseplate details & anchor bolt planning
