Job Description
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced QA Manager with strong expertise in Banking and Wealth Management Systems. This role involves managing quality assurance for core banking applications, leading a team, and directly coordinating with client stakeholders.
The position starts in Hyderabad for the initial knowledge transfer phase, and then requires mandatory relocation to Qatar to work onsite with the client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead QA planning and execution across wealth and banking platforms.
- Manage end-to-end testing: functional, API, and mobile (Android/iOS).
- Ensure adherence to QA processes (STLC/SDLC), manage test coverage, and track quality metrics.
- Work closely with business and development teams to define test strategy and scope.
- Review test cases, track defects, and ensure timely resolution.
- Manage a small team and coordinate with offshore and onsite team members.
- Provide regular QA status updates to stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/testing in the Banking domain.
- Mandatory experience in Wealth Management Systems preferably Comarch.
- Experience managing at least 2 full-cycle projects as a QA/Test Manager.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman.
- Experience in mobile and tablet testing (Android and iOS).
- Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and test documentation practices.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with banking clients in the Middle East region.
- Familiarity with Comarch modules is a strong advantage.
- ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.
