Solution Architect- GIS Navigation Domain @ Cyient

Job Description

Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned Solution Architect with strong expertise in the navigation and HD/ADAS mapping domain. The ideal candidate will lead solutioning, innovation, and automation strategy across complex geospatial workflows. Familiarity with AI/ML integration in the map production pipeline is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical solutioning for all navigation-focused projects
• Design end-to-end automation workflows for HD Maps and ADAS-related data
• Integrate advanced tools, ML models, and QC gates in map production
• Architect scalable solutions using navigation data formats (Multinet, NDS, SD/HD, etc.)
• Drive innovation in smart editing tools, data validation engines, and AI-powered processes
• Stay current with industry trends like NDS. Live and autonomous driving ecosystems
• Mentor teams, lead capability building, and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years in Navigation, Automotive Mapping, or LBS
• Strong understanding of HD/ADAS maps, sensor fusion, localization layers
• Expertise with Multinet, NDS (Classic & Live), and other map formats
• Experience in building automation platforms for map production workflows
• Exposure to AI/ML in geospatial QA or enrichment
• Working knowledge of routing engines, GIS tools, and version control
• Strong communication and stakeholder management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors/Masters in Geoinformatics, Geography, CS, or similar fields
• Experience with TomTom, HERE, Mapbox, or Tier-1 Automotive clients
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) & CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks GDPR, India's Mapping Policy, etc.
