Skills, Role and Responsibility

  1. Responsible for managing Oracle (10g/ 11g/ 12c/ 19c) database server on different OS platforms.
  2. Manage database objects like tablespace, user, table, Index, roles, privileges, profiles, DB Links, materialized views, partitioning, synonyms, sequences, views and indexes and other database objects etc.
  3. Create physical/ logical standby database and performing switch- over and fail- over.
  4. Drive performance & tuning, monitoring the performance using tools.
  5. Experience in core oracle database administration
  6. Experience in Oracle software installation, upgrades, patching, database creation & configuration
  7. Proven expertise to manage RMAN backup, restore and recovery, database performance trouble- shooting, fix and configurations.
  8. Demonstrated expertise in VLDB Database migration with TTS, DR build, RMAN restore, BCV backup, Fine tuning, DG, ASM
  9. Sound knowledge in cloud (IaaS and PaaS)
  10. Any entrant or Professional skill on shell scripting with AIX or Linux
  11. Minimum of 6 to 8 Yrs. of experience in Oracle DBA administration
  12. Sound knowledge in Migration, patching, Upgrades
  13. Hands on experience in Oracle database management
  14. Solving critical technical P1 / P2 issues
  15. Good Communication skills
  16. Conduct client calls.
  17. Participate in RCA and CAB calls.
  18. Leveraging Cloud, Analytics, Digital and Security paradigms
  19. Mentoring team for quality delivery
  20. Administration over DB Objects including Tables, Clusters, Views, Procedures etc.
  21. Must have experience in Database tuning including I/O, Load Analysis, ADDR, AWR, SQL Profiling etc.
  22. Responsible for installation, upgrades (Database and RAC), patches, SR support, database tuning, concurrent manager administration, cloning
  23. Able to work in 24 by 7 support.
  24. Good scripting skills to automate regular DBA admin tasks.
  25. Applying grid and DB PSU patch in standalone and multi-node RAC cluster servers
  26. Strong experience on database and SQL queries tuning for Oracle and RAC databases.
  27. Should have knowledge of oracle OEM 12C/13C
  29. Should have good documentation skills
  30. Technology Certifications would be plus
  31. Exposure to other DB technology like MySQL, MS-SQL, PostgreSQL will be plus
