Job Description
- As a DevOps Engineer with 3+ years of experience, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the infrastructure that powers the way.com platform, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to automate processes, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and ensure smooth deployment across various environments. Your primary goal will be to manage and optimize the infrastructure while ensuring high availability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve this objective. Your expertise in cloud platforms such as Digital Ocean, AWS, CI/CD Pipeline Jenkins, Infrastructure as Code Tools Terraform, Ansible, and container tools like Docker and Kubernetes will play a key role in your success. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure using cloud platforms like Digital Ocean, AWS, or Azure. - Automate infrastructure provisioning and manage configuration management using tools like Terraform and Ansible. - Build, manage, and optimize continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins. - Emphasize automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement within a DevOps culture. - Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to enhance system performance, deployment processes, and incident response times. - Monitor system health and performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Cloud-specific monitoring tools. - Manage and optimize container orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) for efficient application delivery. - Implement security best practices across infrastructure, including patch management, vulnerability scanning, and access control. - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure minimal downtime and disruption to services. Secondary Skills (if applicable): - Experience with serverless architectures and microservices. - Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like ELK Stack, Datadog, or Splunk. - Knowledge of database management and performance tuning (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL). - Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
