Job Description
Role
He / She is responsible for managing a team of Market researchers, Inside sales executives and Pre Sales consultants. He / She will provide sales & marketing support to the company's sales team to achieve the company's revenue goals. This position will be based out of India.
The role would require experience in a similar capacity addressing Provider institutions the U.S sales.
The candidate will work closely with the Sales Directors in the U.S as well as the CEO to craft & execute the Sales & Business Development Strategy.
Responsibilities:
Inside Sales: Manage, mentor and guide a team of Inside Sales Executives in the following areas:
Market research / Analysis - to track industry trends, challenges, key players, competition, regulatory mandates, create prospect database
Cold Calling (thru e-mails and tele calling), Lead generation, Sales Funnel Management thru CRM tool
Scheduling web meetings with the prospects.
Pre Sales: Manage, mentor and guide a team of Pre Sales consultants in the following areas:
Produce high quality presentations
Give product demonstration independently to the prospects.
Monitor similar products in the market on a continuous basis and provide inputs to the management on the gaps between our products and the other products in the market.
Identify networking events (seminars / webinars / conferences) to participate
Participate in Healthcare events
Preparation of responses to RFIs / RFPs
Coordinate with various teams within the organization to prepare responses and proposals to RFIs/RFPs/RFX
Requirement-Analysis
Effort-estimation
Proposal-preparation
Preparation of customer agreements
Work alongside the sales person to meet various milestone deadlines in the sales cycle.
Create white papers, case studies, reference able material and other sales collateral
Experience in interacting with Customers, Principals and senior Management professionals.
Desired Skills and Experience
Exceptional communication and presentation skills and a passion for sales
Self starter, results driven with a can do attitude
Willingness to travel
Should be well versed in the use of CRM tools like salesforce.com
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.
Ability to interact with CXOs, Senior Management
Participate in sales & marketing strategies and plans to achieve the company's objective for growth, profitability and market share.
Proven track record in the defined market environment.
A very strong work-ethic - high integrity & values. A go-getter who is super-resilient and whose confidence is not easily dented.
Qualifications:
A post graduate in Engineering or Management with a specialization in Sales / Marketing with at least 14 years of experience in the IT industry in a similar role catering to the U.S market.
