Job Description
Berger Paints India Ltd ( British Paints Div ) is looking for Senior Retail Sales Officer to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey. Customer Service : Providing excellent customer service is paramount. This includes greeting customers, answering their questions, offering assistance, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Product Knowledge : Having in - depth knowledge of the products or services offered, including their features, benefits, and pricing. This enables the sales professional to help customers make informed purchasing decisions. Sales and Upselling : Actively engaging with customers to identify their needs and recommending relevant products. Sales professionals may also try to upsell or cross - sell complementary items to increase sales. Point of Sale (POS) Operations : Operating cash registers or computer - based POS systems to process transactions, handle payments, and issue receipts accurately. Inventory Management : Monitoring product stock levels, restocking shelves, and informing management when inventory needs replenishing. Visual Merchandising : Ensuring that products are displayed attractively, following store merchandising guidelines to entice customers. Loss Prevention : Implementing security measures to prevent theft or loss of merchandise. This includes monitoring suspicious activities and following store security procedures. Returns and Exchanges : Handling customer returns and exchanges while adhering to store policies and ensuring customer satisfaction.Job Classification
