Role & responsibilities
Application Engineering Lead We are looking for an Application Engineering Lead with extensive experience in the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large, complex programs across multiple technologies. This role requires significant hands-on experience, pre-sales expertise, and the ability to build accelerators that drive business value.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 13+ Experience in application engineering.
- Extensive experience in the insurance domain, with a deep understanding of industry specific challenges and opportunities.
- Proven experience managing large, complex programs across multiple technologies.
- Strong hands-on technical skills, with proficiency in:
- Programming languages: Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, .Net
- Web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, Angular, React
- Databases: SQL Server, Oracle , NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
- DevOps tools: Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes..
- Microservices architecture a
- Security best practices and tools (e.g., OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS)
- Demonstrated experience in pre-sales activities, including client engagement and solution design.
- Experience in building and implementing accelerators to improve development efficiency.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Experience with container orchestration and serverless architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the development and implementation of large-scale, complex insurance applications.
- Oversee and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Engage in pre-sales activities, including client presentations, requirement gathering, and solution design.
- Develop and implement accelerators to streamline development processes and enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
