Were Hiring: Senior Data Engineer GCP | Big Data | Databricks
Locations: Chennai | Bangalore | Hyderabad | Gurugram | Jaipur | Pune | Bhopal
Shift Timing: 2:00 PM 10:00 PM IST
Experience: 8+ Years

Are you an expert Data Engineer ready to build large-scale data platforms on Google Cloud (GCP)? Join Xebia and work on enterprise-grade data solutions using the best of modern data engineering tools and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build robust data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and analytics
- Strong experience in GCP ecosystem (mandatory)
- Work with Big Data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka
- Hands-on experience in Databricks (Unity Catalog, Workflow, Performance Tuning)
- Build scalable workflows using Airflow, Tivoli, etc.
- Write transformation logic using DBT (preferred) or similar tools
- Programming/scripting with Python, Java, Scala, or similar languages
- Work on Linux systems and use Git-based tools for version control and CI/CD
- Set up and manage containers using Docker / Kubernetes
- Implement data-as-a-service APIs (preferred)
- Adhere to software engineering best practices: testing, documentation, reviews
- Interact efficiently with cross-functional teamstechnical and non-technical
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of data engineering experience
- GCP experience is mandatory
- Proven expertise with Databricks, Big Data stack, and workflow orchestration tools
- Immediate availability (015 days notice period)
- Comfortable working in a 2 PM to 10 PM IST shift
- Strong communication and documentation skills
