Job Description

PostgreSQL:

Extensive experience as a AWS Aurora PostgreSQL database administrator or consultant.
Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/PostgreSQL.
Migration experience from native RDBMS to Aurora Postgre SQL
Experience in AWS DMS and AWS SCT
In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL features, capabilities, and best practices.
Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL extensions and additional tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Relevant certifications in PostgreSQL or related technologies are a plus.
Conduct performance tuning and optimization of AWS Aurora PostgreSQL databases to ensure efficient and responsive data access.
Analyse and resolve performance bottlenecks and issues.
Implement and enforce security best practices for AWS Aurora PostgreSQL databases.
Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies for PostgreSQL databases.
Implement disaster recovery plans to minimize data loss and downtime.
Implement and manage high availability solutions, such as streaming replication or logical replication.
