Job Description

Job Description for Design Quality Checker:

Check all 2D drawings released by the customer and ensure compliance with global drawing standards.
Coach and mentor engineers to maintain design quality.
Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions with designers.
Coordinate and align with the team to improve and update drawing quality.
Check 3D models for interference and clearance.
Check DMU (Digital Mock-Up) for digital validation, i.e., envelope and linkage study of movable and vibrating parts.
Check 3D models for manufacturability.
Ensure BOM structure for assemblies (parent and child with quantity and position in 3D).
Maintain a tracker and follow up with designers for required corrections.
Identify and propose sustainable automation solutions for error-free design release.
Maintain vehicle DMUs for each variant and follow up on corrections.
