Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
- Engage with clients to gather requirements and translate them into functional and
technical specifications.
- Analyze business processes to identify areas for improvement and propose IT
solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for proposed changes.
- Documentation:
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements,
functional specifications, technical specifications, and process flows.
- Ensure all documentation is clear, concise, and aligned with project requirements
and standards.
- Create presentations and reports to summarize findings, project status, and
recommended solutions for stakeholders.
- Sales Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and assist in pre-sales
activities.
- Develop proposals, scope-of-work documents, and presentations that effectively
communicate our technical solutions to prospective clients.
- Participate in client meetings and pitches to present solutions and address
queries.
- Project Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, developers, and other technical staff to
ensure alignment between client expectations and deliverables.
- Act as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams for project related questions and updates.
- Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor
offerings.
- Propose new solutions or services that align with market needs and company
objectives.
Preferred candidate profile
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within the IT
services or consulting industry.
- Proven experience in pre-sales, client interaction, and technical documentation.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of software development processes, data analysis, and
project management principles.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and CRM platforms.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages, databases, and IT infrastructure is a
plus.
