Job Description

Job Title: Senior / Lead ETL Test Engineer

Work Location: Hyderabad (5 Days work from office)

Years of Experience: 3 to 12 Yrs

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for ETL workflows and data pipelines.
• Validate data transformations and ensure data integrity across source and target systems.
• Perform unit, system, and integration testing for data migration projects.
• Collaborate with data engineers and developers to troubleshoot and resolve data issues.
• Automate test processes to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Document test results, defects, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and quality standards.

Required Skills:

• 36 years of experience in ETL testing, data validation, or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and validation.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Talend ( preferred ) , Informatica, or data stage.
• Experience with test automation tools and scripting.
• Understanding of data migration processes and challenges.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and platforms (e.g., Snowflake).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAS programming and SAS Viya.
• Exposure to tools like SonarQube, Qlik Replicate, or IBM Data Replicator.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks.
