Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Asset Tracking and Inventory: Maintaining accurate records of all IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and associated documentation.
- Lifecycle Management: Overseeing the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from initial procurement to eventual retirement or disposal.
- Procurement and Purchasing: Participating in the procurement process, ensuring compliance with policies.
- Asset Deployment and Maintenance: Coordinating the deployment of new assets and ensuring that existing assets are properly maintained.
- Problem Resolution: Investigating and resolving issues related to IT asset management.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to IT asset management.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generating reports on IT asset status, costs, and other relevant metrics.
- Vendor Management: Managing relationships with IT vendors.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IT hardware, software, and networks.
- Inventory Management: Expertise in inventory management systems and tools.
- Data Management: Ability to manage and analyze large datasets related to IT assets.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders, including IT staff, users, and vendors.
- Problem-solving: Ability to identify and resolve IT asset management issues.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of Relevant Regulations: Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards related to IT asset management.
Experience and Education:
- Experience in IT asset management or related fields .
- Experience in Microsoft excel.
