- As the Director of Accounting, Control & Compliance at Vanderlande in Pune, India, you will have the opportunity to step into a leadership role that drives innovation in logistics. Vanderlande, a global market leader in logistics automation for airports, parcel, and warehouse operations, is seeking a finance leader who thrives on challenge, complexity, and cross-continental impact. In this role, you will be responsible for elevating the global accounting, control, and compliance strategy, playing a crucial role in influencing real transformation. Your responsibilities will include governing global compliance with J-SOX/SOX, tax laws, and corporate controls, driving consistency and excellence in financial reporting across international teams, leading teams in India, and collaborating with teams in EMEA, Americas, and APAC regions. You will be expected to challenge the ordinary by automating, improving, and elevating finance systems and strategy. To be successful in this role, you should bring 18+ years of experience in accounting, compliance, and control (experience in MNCs preferred), deep expertise in IFRS, J-SOX/SOX, tax compliance, and ERP systems, exceptional leadership skills in hybrid and matrix team models, and a strategic mindset with a bold, hands-on approach to change.
