Job Description
- As an Assistant Manager in the Financial Crime Anti Money Laundering department at Genpact, you will play a crucial role in conducting AML and KYC checks for a global investment bank. Your responsibilities will include reviewing alerts for transaction monitoring, conducting open source searches, capturing information as per the bank's KYC policy, investigating potential trading issues, and collaborating with various teams for the development and testing of surveillance models. You will be expected to analyze matches identified during watch list screening, sanctions, and adverse media checks, and determine false positives or true hits for AML concerns. Your role will also involve interacting closely with customers and business units as a subject matter expert in AML and Compliance, while ensuring adherence to critical metrics and business SLAs. To excel in this role, you should possess excellent communication and analytical skills, along with proficiency in MS Office applications. Preferred qualifications include relevant experience in transaction monitoring, KYC, screening, and fraud workflows within FCRM, as well as the ability to fill and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs). Fluency in a secondary language and experience in retail, business, correspondent banking, or brokerage operations will be advantageous. You should have a comprehensive understanding of transaction monitoring, KYC, screening, and fraud operations, including documentary and non-documentary verification, customer screening against sanctions, PEP, and adverse media lists. Strong research and analytical abilities, along with familiarity with risk case management systems like Actimize, are key requirements for this role.
